Job summary
Yahoo Sports is seeking a Manager, Design and Graphic Operations to lead live show graphics across our digital portfolio. You’ll drive design, programming, and operations for Flowics-based graphics, integrating live data and AI-assisted workflows to elevate storytelling.
Collaborating with producers, editors, and engineers, you’ll build scalable graphics systems, mentor teams, and ensure reliable, high‑quality visuals for live productions and tentpole events.
Qualifications
- Significant experience in graphic design and live or digital video production.
- Advanced knowledge of live graphics systems and digital production workflows.
- Experience utilizing AI-assisted design tools and AI coding helpers to accelerate production workflows.
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate, refine, and quality-check AI-generated outputs for technical accuracy and brand alignment.
- Experience working with live data, dynamic graphics, and data-driven visualizations.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and evolution of Yahoo's live show graphics across programming.
- Own Flowics graphics programming, implementation, and maintenance.
- Design sponsorship graphics and branded integrations for live programming.
- Create YouTube thumbnails and supporting graphics for Yahoo Sports and Yahoo Fantasy.
- Lead graphics for tentpole events and special live productions.
- Collaborate with producers, editors, and engineers to translate concepts into viable graphics solutions.
