Job summary

Mattel, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the Franchise Finance Licensing Operations team in El Segundo, CA. You will own day-to-day governance, project delivery, and support for Mattel Licensing Systems including RightsLogic, MyMediaBox and Malibu.

The role requires 10+ years in data analysis and project leadership, strong communication, and experience with financial data and royalty systems. In-office role with a focus on collaboration across brands and vendors.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience with data analysis and troubleshooting.
• Proven project management experience leading complex initiatives.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Experience with financial data and royalty systems is preferred.
• Knowledge of Media, Licensing or Consumer Products is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Research, design, and document specifications for system enhancements.
• Manage implementation projects for new businesses and enhancements.
• Collect and create requirements; collaborate with vendor for customizations.
• Handle complex questions from internal and external parties.
• Write Use Cases and Test Scripts; oversee release testing and sign-off.
• Oversee budgeting approvals and sign-off proposals.
• Lead planning, coordination and execution of projects with timelines.
• Oversee monthly and quarterly system close processes.
• Oversee system integrations and resolve failures to completion.
• Provide ongoing client support; troubleshoot issues and propose solutions.
• Offer clear support pathways with documented ownership and service expectations.
• Identify recurring pain points and recommend process improvements.
• Prepare reconciliations, variance analysis, data validation and controls.
• Prepare training docs and lead webinars for Licensees.
• Educate users on system capabilities and guide to minimal customization.
• Develop metrics and reporting to show adoption and usage.
• Oversee one associate manager; ensure governance and accountability.
• Lead, coach, and develop team across ops, analytics, reporting, and admin.
