Job summary

The American Medical Association is seeking a Senior Manager Learning Design for a hybrid role in Chicago, IL. You will lead a team of learning experience designers, oversee end-to-end course development, and align education goals with AMA Ed Hub and internal business units.

You will ensure scalable learning delivery, governance, and analytics, while shaping quality standards and leveraging adult learning models to maximize impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master’s degree strongly preferred.
• 7+ years designing, developing, or creating education for adult learners.
• Proven ability to translate subject-matter content into engaging learning experiences.
• Experience in people management.

Responsibilities

• Guide design, development and evaluation of education across AMA Ed Hub and internal units.
• Own intake and prioritization of learning projects from AMA units and Education Center.
• Align education goals with AMA business needs and maintain program analytics; oversee timelines and resources.
• Lead, mentor and evaluate staff to foster a collaborative team environment.
