Job summary

Centene Corporation is seeking a remote Senior Financial Analyst to oversee IP spend analytics and maintain accurate financial records. You will collaborate with Utilization Management to validate inpatient data and lead reporting for budget variances.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance with 5+ years of experience; CPA preferred. Expect responsibility for budgeting, forecasting, and presenting insights to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of accounting or financial analysis experience.
• Previous management responsibilities including hiring, training and performance management.
• Experience in healthcare insurance is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance of accurate financial records and financial analytic functions.
• Prepare and maintain monthly IP IBNR expense estimates.
• Review inpatient authorization data and establish a validation process for data accuracy.
• Develop standard review processes and reporting for inpatient spend and budget variances.
• Oversee preparation of IP spend financial reports and analyses.
• Interpret financial reports for senior management and recommend actions.
