Job summary

Centene Management Company LLC is seeking a Data Analyst III to analyze extensive datasets and deliver insights that reduce cost of care and improve clinical outcomes. You will work across claims, provider, and member data, developing reports and automation to support network strategy and business decisions.

Required: 4+ years with large databases, strong SQL, and experience in analytics; welcome knowledge of Python, R, Power BI, and data visualization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, statistics, mathematics, actuarial science, public health, health informatics, healthcare administration, finance or related field or equivalent experience.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 4+ years with large databases, data verification, and data management or 2+ years IT experience.
• Healthcare analytics experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and analyze data from claims, provider, member, and encounters data.
• Identify and assess the business impact of trends.
• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot complex scripts and reports using SQL, Excel, or other analytics tools.
• Plan and execute large-scale projects with limited direction from leadership.
• Assist in design, testing, and implementation of process enhancements and automation.
