Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of accounting, financial analysis or related experience.
• Previous management experience including hiring, training, and performance management.
• Experience in public accounting, operations, financial analysis preferred.
• Experience in healthcare insurance strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain monthly IP IBNR expense estimates.
• Collaborate with Utilization Management to review inpatient authorization data and validate accuracy.
• Develop and maintain standardized review processes and reports for inpatient spend.
• Oversee preparation of accurate IP spend financial reports.
• Interpret financial reports for management and recommend actions.
• Prepare budget and forecast and analyze IP claims and authorization results.
• Monitor legislative and political developments affecting the financial unit.
