Job summary

Deepgram is seeking a Senior Manager, Internal Communications to build and scale the company’s internal communications for a remote-first, globally distributed team. You will partner with leadership to craft clear messaging, drive employee engagement, and translate complex AI/voice-tech developments into accessible updates across all-hands, memos, and digital channels.

Qualifications

• Deep internal communications experience: has owned internal comms at a fast-growing company, not just contributed to it.
• Experience with, or have thought deeply about, keeping a remote or distributed workforce connected to the company's values and to each other.
• Know how to earn the trust of executives: can write in their voice, help them sound consistent over time, push back with candor, and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Thinks in systems: designs a communications architecture and cadence on purpose, rather than adding more things to an already crowded ecosystem.
• Operates AI-native: uses AI as the default way of drafting, editing, summarizing, and measuring comms, and is excited to build workflows and agents for leverage.
• Writes clearly and quickly across formats, from a CEO all-hands narrative to a crisp Slack announcement
• Translates complex technical and business news into plain language that works for engineers, researchers, sellers, and operators alike
• Uses data and feedback to show what's working and iterate, not just ship and move on

Responsibilities

• Create clear, timely internal communications that keep employees informed about company priorities and direction.
• Strengthen connections across a distributed workforce and leadership to maintain alignment.
• Establish channels, cadences, and practices for internal communications across the organization.
• Draft and shape communications in leadership voice for all-hands, memos, Slack, and other channels.
• Organize communications for major company moments with timely, consistent information.
• Translate the company's mission, strategy, and priorities into accessible internal narratives.
• Collaborate with People on culture and employee experience initiatives.
• Leverage data and AI tools to improve reach and impact of communications.
