Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or equivalent preferred.
• Strong ASC 842 knowledge applied to infra, data center or compute arrangements.
• Experience managing a large lease portfolio in high-growth environments.
• Analytical abilities with large, complex datasets.
• Proven track record of improving scalable financial processes.
• Experience mentoring and developing accounting professionals.
• Ability to translate technical accounting concepts for non-finance stakeholders.
• Clear communication and influence across cross-functional partners.
• Experience partnering with engineering/infrastructure/operations for reporting and cost transparency.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end accounting for one of Anthropic's AI infrastructure lease portfolios, incl. monthly close and reconciliations.
• Apply ASC 842 expertise to complex infrastructure arrangements and reassessments.
• Collaborate with Real Estate, Legal, and Finance during contract negotiation to assess accounting implications.
• Serve as a trusted finance partner to non-finance stakeholders with clear financial impact explanations.
• Improve upstream data pipelines from operational and contract systems.
• Design and scale systems, processes, and controls for a growing lease portfolio.
• Mentor accounting professionals across the Infrastructure Accounting team.
• Act as a key contact with external auditors on lease accounting matters.
• Drive process improvements and automation, including AI tooling, for financial reporting.
