Job summary

Slalom is seeking a seasoned Sr. Manager, Infrastructure Engineering to lead a five-person team across systems, cloud, and network disciplines in delivering reliable, scalable infrastructure.

You will drive strategy, prioritization, and execution, while partnering with Enterprise Architecture and Information Security to ensure secure operations. The role blends hands-on leadership with architectural input, focusing on performance, automation, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Relevant certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.) are a plus.
• Hands-on engineering experience across cloud, systems, or network domains.
• Proven track record mentoring engineers and driving career development.
• Strong PM discipline with Jira/Confluence and portfolio management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and support the professional development and career growth of a team spanning systems, cloud, and network disciplines.
• Build a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement to enable engineers to perform at their best.
• Conduct regular 1:1s to provide coaching, feedback, and clear performance expectations.
• Manage team capacity to position the team for long-term success.
• Partner with the Director to align team goals with broader organizational strategy.
