Job summary

Slalom’s Platform Engineering team is seeking Senior Consultants or Principal level talent to design, develop and implement cloud platform solutions for clients across industries. You will architect and optimize multi-cloud environments and lead modernization efforts.

You will mentor teams in DevOps, SRE, and platform engineering, while collaborating with security and architecture groups to accelerate software delivery and improve developer experience.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and operating enterprise-scale cloud platforms in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong background in DevOps, Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, CI/CD, containerization, and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with scripting and automation using Python language.
• Knowledge of cloud security, networking, monitoring, reliability engineering, and governance frameworks.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to engineering and business stakeholders.
• Experience using GenAI tools to accelerate work.
• Consulting mindset with strong problem-solving, collaboration, and client engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and optimize cloud platform solutions across AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud environments.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code and automation frameworks using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Define CI/CD pipelines with application teams from scratch.
• Build observability, security controls, and platform governance best practices.
• Collaborate with engineering, security, and architecture teams to improve developer experience and delivery speed.
• Lead cloud modernization and platform transformation initiatives for enterprise clients.
• Mentor engineering teams on DevOps, SRE, cloud-native, and platform engineering best practices.
