Job summary

Slalom in Seattle is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to lead the management of the company’s multi-cloud environment (AWS, Azure, GCP, Snowflake). You will collaborate with Architects and Cloud Engineers across IT to drive secure, efficient, and cost-effective cloud operations.

You will mentor the Infrastructure Operations team, guide escalations, and contribute to architectural decisions that shape Slalom’s cloud roadmap.

Qualifications

• Requires strong experience managing AWS/Azure/GCP environments.
• Proficient in cost tagging, budgeting and optimization strategies.
• Skilled in automation using CLI, scripting languages, or Go/Python.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize cloud platforms across AWS, Azure, GCP, Snowflake and enforce cost controls.
• Apply IAM/RBAC principles, guardrails via SCPs and SSO, and collaborate with Infosec for monitoring tools.
• Mentor Infrastructure Operations engineers and drive cross-functional collaboration to align with business goals.
