Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Senior Manager, Information Security & IT to own the cybersecurity and IT operating model for a scalable enterprise technology environment. The role focuses on strengthening controls, reducing risk, and enabling secure growth, partnering with Engineering, Product, and executive leadership to advance cloud security, application security, compliance readiness, and AI governance.

The position is remote with a compensation range of $160,000–$180,000 annually.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of cybersecurity/IT experience, including leadership.
• Cloud security, app security, and incident response expertise.
• Experience with secure SDLC and DevSecOps practices, including threat modeling and penetration testing.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks such as SOC 2 Type 2 and ISO 27001.
• Knowledge of AI cybersecurity risks and secure AI adoption practices
• Strong understanding of identity and corporate IT environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and enhance cybersecurity compliance programs, including SOC 2 Type 2 and readiness for ISO 27001.
• Establish governance for secure enterprise adoption of AI and manage associated risks.
• Define measurable cybersecurity KPIs and report progress to executive leadership.
• Drive cloud and application security practices, ensuring secure design with Engineering and Product teams.
• Oversee the incident response process, including detection, investigation, and recovery efforts.
• Manage corporate IT operations, including endpoint and SaaS administration.
• Develop and grow the IT team while fostering accountability and operational standards.

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Manager, Information Security & IT to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space. This leader will own the cybersecurity and IT operating model for the organization, with a focus on strengthening controls, reducing risk, and enabling secure growth. The role partners closely with Engineering, Product, and executive leadership to advance cloud security, application security, compliance readiness, and AI governance. It also oversees incident response and corporate IT operations while building a high-performing team and clear operational standards. The position requires a balance of strategic leadership and hands‑on technical depth to support a modern enterprise technology environment.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $160,000 – $180,000 annually
