Ladders is seeking a Staff Security Software Engineer to join a leader in the Manufacturing & Automotive space. Build secure software for cloud-native systems and strengthen security posture. Partner with engineering, security, and audit teams to embed security into architecture, development, and delivery workflows.

This role blends hands-on software engineering with cybersecurity expertise in Agile. Location: Remote. Compensation: $160,200 – $246,300 annually.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, cybersecurity, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 9+ years of IAM experience with EntraID or SailPoint.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Go, Java, or C++.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop security-focused software solutions and automation frameworks.
• Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native environments.
• Collaborate with teams to embed security into system architecture.
• Conduct code reviews and threat modeling to identify vulnerabilities.

For our client, we are seeking a Staff Security Software Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Manufacturing & Automotive space.

This role will focus on building secure software capabilities that protect modern cloud-native systems and strengthen the organization’s security posture. You will partner closely with engineering, security, and audit stakeholders to embed security into architecture, development, and delivery workflows. The position blends hands-on software engineering with cybersecurity expertise, including automation, monitoring, and incident support. It is well suited for someone who can operate independently in an Agile environment while driving practical security outcomes across the technology stack.

Compensation: $160,200 – $246,300 annually

Responsibilities
