Job summary

MetLife’s US Procurement Partnering team seeks a Sr. Consultant to lead end-to-end indirect sourcing across multiple lines of business, including AI, data, SaaS, and digital transformation deals, partnering with VP+ stakeholders.

You will architect high-impact sourcing strategies, drive complex negotiations, and deliver measurable value in cost, risk, and supplier performance while advancing a value-driven operating model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 7–10+ years of indirect procurement/sourcing experience.
• Proven ability to lead complex sourcing initiatives ($1M–$10M+) and negotiations.
• Experience across multiple non-tech categories with exposure to tech, SaaS and AI sourcing.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling abilities.
• Excellent communication and VP-level negotiation skills.
• Familiarity with procurement platforms (Zip, Ariba, Workday, CLM) and AI productivity tools.

Responsibilities
