Job summary

Weber Shandwick in New York is seeking a Senior Manager with client experience and healthcare communications expertise to serve as a counselor to our clients across two of our largest accounts.

You will develop and execute strategic integrated communications programs, supporting overall strategy and advising healthcare clients. A background in healthcare and pharma with multi-channel launches is encouraged.

Qualifications

• 5–6 years of experience in the digital marketing industry with integrated strategies.
• 3+ years of team management experience leading small groups and projects.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Industry experience in healthcare communications and/or pharmaceuticals.
• Experience launching a healthcare product or campaign with multi-channel initiatives.
• Fluency with regulatory submission processes.
• Strong presentation skills, poise, and professionalism.
• Experience with estimate creation, budgeting, and financial management.
• Be a self-starter who works well within a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Manage client expectations, ensuring quality standards are met and results are delivered on budget.
• Coordinate among multi-disciplinary teams (digital, creative, strategy, medical, editorial, video, web development).
• Develop materials including social media ads, banners, websites, brochures, congress materials, print and digital materials.
• Build relationships with clients and partner agencies while managing status documents for stakeholders.
• Manage regulatory submissions and consolidate feedback for implementation.
• Ensure extended team stays on track with project timelines and action items.
• Identify training and development needs of junior staff and provide growth opportunities.
• Assist leadership team in financial management for client budgets.
