Qualifications

• 2–3 years of professional experience in an agency/strategic consulting firm, political campaign or healthcare company
• BA or BS in a relevant field; Knowledge of basic PR skills and client service
• Fluent in Microsoft Office and proficient in research, media and social monitoring platforms

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key team member across complex crisis communications and healthcare-focused issues.
• Draft and review press releases, crisis plans, media strategies, statements, talking points and FAQs.
• Develop and review media materials based on supervisor direction.
• Monitor client issues and prepare crisis coverage reports using industry tools.
• Coordinate routine account management materials and client communications.
• Prepare for and participate in client meetings with detailed recaps and action steps.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure flawless execution of client objectives.
• Lead small teams to conduct research and prepare executive summaries with actionable recommendations.
• Model collaborative behavior and maintain high-quality work while updating managers on progress.
• Contribute to team culture and participate in on-duty coverage for critical client reports.
