Job description

We are looking for a sharp, experienced Business Analyst to support strategic growth projects with a global leader in digital health and medical devices. The focus of this role is to help identify new business and product opportunities , to conduct business due diligence on potential partners or M&A targets, conduct analysis on new technology and product concepts , and to help drive the implementation and execution of key initiatives.

Location : San Diego area with a flexible work-from-home policy.

Key Responsibilities :

• Work closely with business leads to develop and document business and product growth strategies , identifying attractive new business areas and market segments with a clear rationale.
• Evaluate potential acquisition targets by conducting business and financial due diligence , including financial modeling, profitability analysis, and ROIC assessments.
• Conduct market research , technology research, competitive landscape analysis , and industry trend assessments to inform strategic decisions. Includes reviewing clinical and medical research reports and talking to key opinion leaders and subject matter experts.
• Create high-quality executive-level slide decks and reports that clearly communicate insights, recommendations, and strategic narratives.
• Build and refine financial models to assess business cases and investment opportunities.

Qualifications :

• 3-6+ years of experience in management consulting , investment banking , private equity , product strategy, or a related field.
• Strong skills in financial modeling, business analysis, and strategic thinking . Able to synthesize complex pieces of information into a clear thought process, and generate insights and original points of view.
• Highly proficient in PowerPoint and Excel , with a proven ability to produce compelling presentations and sides
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently , handle ambiguity and challenges of imperfect or incomplete information, self-manage their work and time, and ensure that deliverables for themselves and from key partners will meet tight deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail with high standards and high quality error-free deliverables
• Experience and interest in healthcare, medtech, or digital health sectors is a strong plus and highly preferred.
• Education degree in a bio-medical, bio-engineering or STEM related field is a plus but not required.

A reasonable estimate of the current base range for this position in the United States is : $108,000 - $135,000 USD .
