Job summary

RTX is seeking a Senior Manager for Business Development, Requirements, and Capabilities – Modular Open Systems Solutions Encryption. You will lead new opportunity identification, shaping and securing deals, while coordinating with DoD and government stakeholders to align strategic goals.

You will oversee proposals and capture efforts, manage cross-functional teams, and drive product development in response to customer needs with up to 50% travel.

Qualifications

• Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret Security Clearance is required.
• Experience with U.S. military concepts of operations related to secure communications, MOSA, and cryptography.
• Experience with the lifecycle of pursuit, order, and capture processes.
• Experience directly supporting U.S. Government acquisitions.
• U.S. citizenship required for security clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead identification, development, and capture of new opportunities in Modular Open Systems Encryption.
• Brief senior DoD and government leaders to align on goals and opportunities.
• Oversee white papers, proposals, and capture team activities end-to-end.
• Negotiate and close opportunities aligned with customer and market needs.
• Contribute to product development and strategic planning for customer needs.
• Build relationships with U.S. Government and non-Government customers to pursue new markets.
• Assess competitors and market trends to position RTX advantageously.
• Collaborate with program management and engineering to drive growth and innovation.
• Travel up to 50% to support business development and customer engagement.
