Job summary

PayPal in New York City is seeking a Senior Manager, Business Operations & Program Management to lead operating model, governance, and cross-functional programs across XOPP teams and product groups.

You will coordinate planning rhythms, drive portfolio intake, manage risks, and apply data, AI, and automation to improve day-to-day operations, partnering with Engineering, GTM, Marketing, Risk, and Finance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in business operations, program or portfolio management, or corporate strategy.
• Experience partnering with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to deliver digital products and technology-enabled business initiatives.
• Ability to build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and influence across a matrixed organization.
• Strong written and verbal communication and storytelling skills.
• Experience applying Agile/Lean Six Sigma to program management and planning/reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex projects of diverse scope to optimize operational processes.
• Provide oversight for planning, budgeting, and headcount targets; drive accountability across teams.
• Drive global process improvements within the organization and governance frameworks.
• Coordinate portfolio intake and prioritization; manage risks and dependencies.
• Act as liaison between business leadership, staff, and key partners.
• Utilize data and automation to improve day-to-day operations across functions.
