Stanley Black & Decker in Valley City, OH is seeking a Senior Manager to lead GCE Manufacturing Controls Engineering onsite. You will manage a team of controls and robotics engineers, drive productivity projects across regional sites, and partner with manufacturing teams to standardize robotics and control systems.

This role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering, 10+ years in manufacturing with 3+ in leadership, and strong project management, PLC/HMI experience, and Lean knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of manufacturing experience with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Protrak project management experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with ability to mentor engineering teams.
• Proficient in project management tools and software; strong organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage, Develop and Grow a team consisting of controls and robotics engineers to maximize productivity.
• Support Strategy/Footprint team when required for product equipment transfers.
• Implement and oversee productivity projects within the region, ensuring on-time, within-scope, and on-budget delivery.
• Monitor and report on progress of productivity projects; identify issues and develop solutions.
• Develop and execute training programs to upskill plant engineering staff.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to identify process improvements and cost savings.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and optimization of manufacturing processes.
• Provide technical leadership for robotics, industrial automation, and control systems across global sites.
