Job summary

Supermicro is seeking a Sr. Manager -Key Components to lead global sourcing of critical components and manage supplier relationships. This fast-moving role requires strategic thinking, cross-functional collaboration, and a track record of developing products and business models from the ground up.

The successful candidate will drive cost optimization, align procurement with technology roadmaps, and lead go-to-market initiatives while influencing executive stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering/technical field, MBA or relevant advanced degree is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of server/workstation hardware business models.
• Knowledge of machine learning accelerator.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute global sourcing strategies for key components.
• Lead contract negotiations with key suppliers to drive value.
• Analyze market trends, cost structures, and TCO optimization.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams on roadmaps and life cycles.
• Drive procurement process improvements and use data analytics.
• Lead GTM strategy and resolve supply chain bottlenecks.
• Support product teams with subject matter expertise and sales collaboration.
• Ensure in-office attendance and participate in team meetings.
