Job summary

Coinflow seeks a Sr. Manager, Compliance Program & Governance to build an expansive, defensible program across US, Canada, and EU. You’ll own governance cadences, sponsor bank relationships, and drive regulatory readiness with cross-functional teams in Underwriting, AML, Legal, Engineering, and Operations.

You’ll partner with the CRO to ensure issues are tracked, closed, and auditable, contributing to scalable risk management as the company grows in a fintech environment.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years in compliance, risk, audit, or program management, preferably fintech/payments.
• Experience building or scaling a program in high-growth environments.
• Strong written/verbal communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Own policy, SOP, and control framework across regions with attestation tracking.
• Harmonize policies across US, Canada, EU into group policy.
• Lead second-line testing for BSA/AML controls with documented evidence.
• Manage bank and payment partner relationships, integrating requirements into workflows.
• Pre-review onboarding due diligence responses for CRO.
• Own risk change intake for regulatory regimes and triage actions.
• Lead audit/exam readiness and maintain evidence libraries.
• Maintain risk and gap register with audit-ready evidence.
• Design governance cadence and manage committee actions.
• Prepare board-level reporting and provide a health view across jurisdictions.
• Collaborate with Product/Engineering on tooling to reflect policies.
