Are you a technically strong accounting professional who enjoys tackling complex consolidations, navigating evolving reporting requirements, and ensuring financial statements tell the full story? Our client is looking for a Senior Manager of Financial Reporting to take ownership of consolidated and subsidiary-level reporting, strengthen internal controls, and help drive accuracy and consistency across the organization.
This is an opportunity to step into a visible role working closely with finance leadership, supporting both internal and external reporting, and providing guidance on technical accounting matters. If you bring a strong foundation in GAAP, IFRS, and financial statement preparation, this role offers the chance to put that expertise to work in a complex, multi-entity environment.
Why This Opportunity Stands Out

- Work closely with finance leadership: Provide insight into evolving accounting standards, reporting requirements, and the impact of changes on the organization.
- Make an impact on controls and compliance: Help strengthen internal controls, improve reporting practices, and support sound corporate governance.
- Bring technical expertise to the table: Work across GAAP, IFRS, consolidations, disclosures, and other technical accounting areas.
- Gain broad organizational exposure: Partner with internal teams, auditors, and leadership on financial reporting and audit-related matters.
- Improve how reporting gets done: Help refine accounting policies, procedures, and processes to support accuracy, consistency, and efficiency.
What You Will Do
- Lead the preparation and timely delivery of consolidated and subsidiary-level financial statements, along with supporting schedules and monthly reporting packages.
- Oversee financial statement disclosures, footnote preparation, and tie-outs to ensure reporting is accurate and compliant with GAAP, IFRS, and applicable standards.
- Review consolidation activity, journal entries, account balances, and transactions to ensure financial information is properly reflected in internal and external reporting.
- Monitor changes in accounting standards and reporting requirements, advising management on potential impacts and recommended approaches.
- Coordinate supporting schedules, documentation, and information requests for internal and external audits.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls over financial reporting and help identify opportunities to strengthen processes and mitigate risk.
- Assist in the review of technical accounting schedules, journal entries, and reconciliations while supporting the monthly close and financial review process.
- Maintain and update accounting policies and procedures to promote consistent application of accounting standards and reporting practices.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA strongly preferred.
- 7+ years of relevant accounting and financial reporting experience, with at least two years in public accounting or private equity experience considered a plus.
- Demonstrated experience preparing and overseeing complex financial statement consolidations.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, IFRS, financial statement disclosures, and technical accounting requirements.
- Solid understanding of SOX compliance, internal controls, audit practices, and corporate governance.
