Owens & Minor is seeking a Sr. Manager, Financial Business Process to lead initiatives that improve financial processes through automation and system enhancements.

You will collaborate with Finance, business stakeholders, and IT to identify opportunities, define requirements, and implement scalable solutions that boost efficiency and accuracy. The ideal candidate translates complex business needs into technology solutions, guiding cross‑functional teams through process and system improvements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Business, IT, or related field.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and organizational skills.
• Experience translating business requirements into technology or system solutions.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex financial business processes and identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and improved efficiency.
• Partner with Finance, business users, and IT to gather requirements, define project scope, and develop effective solutions.
• Translate business requirements into functional and system specifications.
• Lead the design, configuration, testing, and implementation of new and enhanced systems and processes.
• Identify gaps and recommend technology solutions or alternative approaches to improve business processes.
• Lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve business and system-related issues.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, requirements, and system-related materials.
• Support system testing, including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing.
• Serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders and IT development teams.
• Provide guidance and consultation to users on financial systems, processes, and technology solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement and ensure solutions are scalable, cost‑effective, and aligned with business objectives.
