Job summary

Baya Systems in Santa Clara, CA is seeking a Senior Manager, Field Applications Engineering to lead a nationwide FAE team and accelerate technical adoption of our fabric interconnect IP. This hands-on leadership role combines pre- and post-sales support with significant individual contribution.

You'll manage senior FAEs across the USA, recruit top engineering talent, mentor staff, and align regional goals with corporate strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related STEM field.
• 5+ years leading customer-facing engineering teams (FAE/Tech Support).
• 10+ years in semiconductor, silicon IP, or high-performance networking.
• Deep understanding of NoC, AMBA protocols, PCIe/CXL fabrics.
• Experience with front-end ASIC design, SoC architecture, RTL verification.

Responsibilities

• Lead a distributed team of FAEs across the USA.
• Recruit and onboard top engineering talent in key regional hubs.
• Provide continuous technical mentorship and development.
• Set clear regional goals aligned with corporate objectives.
• Grow collaterals to enable easier customer adoption.
• Drive strategy with sales to secure high-value design wins.
• Oversee customer proofs-of-concept and architectural reviews.
• Deliver technical keynotes, deep-dives, and product demonstrations.
