Job summary

OpenAI is seeking a Senior Manager to lead and continuously improve its Extended Workforce program. You will partner with the Head of Extended Workforce to translate priorities into scalable plans, owning end-to-end execution and partnering across Finance, Legal, and Procurement to meet evolving workforce needs.

You will drive program health, supplier relationships, and adoption of new processes, tools, and analytics, balancing cost, risk, and worker experience in a fast‑growing AI environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in extended/workforce or related field.
• Experience designing and executing extended workforce processes.
• Hands-on scaling of processes, automation, reporting, service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Set direction for assigned workstreams and own end-to-end execution.
• Ensure operations are efficient, scalable, and compliant.
• Advise managers on workforce solutions with focus on cost, risk, and speed.
• Translate business needs into improved workflows, automation, and reporting.
• Identify and implement AI/automation applications to reduce manual work.
• Build reusable practices and documentation to elevate the program.
• Manage strategic supplier relationships and monitor performance.
• Establish program health metrics to drive improvements.
• Lead rollout and adoption of new processes and tools.
• Resolve complex workforce requests independently.
