Job summary

McKinstry is seeking a Senior Manager, Enterprise Sustainability to lead enterprisewide decarbonization and climate strategies across nationwide operations. The role focuses on fleet, facilities, procurement, and travel to drive net-zero progress over the next decade.

The candidate will manage GHG accounting for Scopes 1-3, develop supplier engagement and data frameworks, and partner with internal teams to implement sustainability enhancements. Strong leadership and storytelling are essential.

Qualifications

• 10-15+ years of experience in sustainability, climate, or related fields.
• Expertise in GHG accounting across Scope 1-3.
• 2+ years of people management experience.
• Experience leading crossfunctional programs in matrixed organizations.
• Strong analytical, communication, and executive storytelling skills.
• Familiarity with frameworks such as GHG Protocol, EcoVadis, CDP, GRI, RE100.

Responsibilities

• Own and advance sustainability and decarbonization programs across operations, fleet, facilities, procurement, and travel.
• Lead companywide GHG accounting and reporting for Scopes 1-3.
• Develop supply chain decarbonization strategies and supplier engagement.
• Partner with internal teams to implement nationwide improvements.
• Provide guidance on climate disclosures and external communications.
• Lead crossfunctional climate initiatives from strategy to execution.
• Mentor a growing team of climate and sustainability professionals.
