Job summary

McKinstry in Denver is seeking a Senior Manager, Environmental Sustainability to shape and deliver enterprisewide strategies that decarbonize its operations, supply chains, and procurement nationwide.

Lead crossfunctional programs, drive GHG accounting across Scopes 1-3, develop decarbonization roadmaps, build dashboards, and mentor a growing team while partnering with executives to advance climate disclosures.

Qualifications

10-15+ years of experience in sustainability, climate, carbon management, supply chain, or related fields.
Demonstrated expertise in GHG accounting and emissions management across Scope 1-3.
2+ years of people management experience.
Experience leading complex, crossfunctional programs in matrixed organizations.
Strong analytical, communication, and executivelevel storytelling skills.
Knowledge of GHG accounting software and similar tools to aid analysis and regular reporting.
Proficiency with Microsoft tools (Excel, PowerBI, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams).
Familiarity with frameworks such as the GHG Protocol, EcoVadis, CDP, GRI, and RE100.

Responsibilities

Lead large, crossfunctional climate and decarbonization initiatives from strategy through execution.
Create KPIs, dashboards, and progress reporting to track and manage sustainability-related performance and outcomes.
Lead program planning, timelines, and deliverables with full accountability for results.
Manage, mentor, and develop a small but growing team of climate and sustainability professionals.
