Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a senior sustainability professional to oversee carbon accounting, reporting, and forecasting, including Scope 1–3 emissions. You will coordinate stakeholder engagement with national customers and drive cross-functional initiatives across our facilities and fleet.

The role requires a Master’s degree or equivalent in a sustainability-related field and 4+ years in data-driven sustainability work, with strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent in sustainability or related field.
• 4+ years in sustainability or environmental data roles.
• Experience with greenhouse gas inventories or emissions reporting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess technologies, regulatory trends and sustainability practices to improve operations and reporting.
• Coordinate responses to sustainability requests from customers, NGOs and government.
• Facilitate carbon accounting, reporting and forecasting (Scopes 1-3 emissions inventories).
• Engage external stakeholders to showcase capabilities for national customers on low-to-zero emission solutions.
• Support development of sustainability resources, communications and education materials.
• Lead cross-functional sustainability initiatives across departments for measurable outcomes.
