Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Manager, Project Controls to lead the enterprise project controls function across a large portfolio of design-build projects for municipal, industrial, and federal clients in the United States. This role will advance governance, systems, analytics, and talent to deliver projects safely, profitably, and predictably.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; 15+ years of related experience preferred.
PMP or PgM certification required.
Willingness to travel up to 50% including domestic and international travel.

Responsibilities

Define enterprise project controls strategy, standards, methodologies, and governance.
Establish controls for design-build, CMAR and other delivery models.
Strengthen budgeting, scheduling, forecasting, and change management processes.
Develop dashboards and analytics for margin, backlog, and cash flow insights.
Lead modernization of project controls platforms and data workflows.
Oversee document controls, records management, and configuration control.
Partner with executive leadership and delivery teams to improve outcomes.
Develop talent and build enterprise project controls community.
