Job summary

General Motors is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the Enterprise Efficiency Specialist (EES) Program Management team, driving cross-functional collaboration across vehicle development, planning, and execution. You will ensure on-time, quality results and lead teams across multiple business functions in a hybrid work environment in Michigan.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of automotive program management or related cross-functional roles.
• 5+ years in program management or leadership roles.
• Expertise in all phases of the global vehicle development process.
• Led direct or indirect cross functional teams.
• Experience bringing a product through launch.
• Domestic travel up to 10% to support projects.
• Bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Provide cross functional leadership across EES initiatives such as Batch Build, FASSt, Supplier Requirements, Plant Site Efficiency Improvements (Visits).
• Direct program management toward enterprise efficiencies and results for EES initiatives including standardized work with the Batch Build process development, execution and application; Scoping and project implementation planning for FASSt.
• Look ahead … anticipate risk throughout the development and execution process.
• Identify opportunities for additional cost savings, and process improvements throughout initial application and future implementation.
• Build and maintain operational work plans, collaboration, alignment and clarity amongst highly ambiguous and changing environments.
• Look ahead anticipating future risks, challenges while also Identifying potential new Enterprise savings opportunities.
