ŌURA in San Francisco seeks a Senior Manager of Electrical Engineering to lead the electronics team for next-generation wearable devices. You will define electrical architecture, drive performance and reliability, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cutting-edge hardware.

Reporting to the Director of Engineering, this hybrid role shapes the future of ŌURA's hardware, mentoring engineers and guiding testing, validation, and manufacturing partnerships to scale high-volume

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience managing electrical engineering teams with embedded systems and low-power design in high-volume consumer electronics or wearables.
• Deep expertise in analog and digital circuit design, power management, and sensor integration.
• Experience with testing and validation methodologies for electrical systems.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Significant experience working with overseas manufacturing partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of electrical engineers to foster technical excellence and collaboration.
• Define electrical architecture and system design for wearables, including power management, sensor integration, and interfaces.
• Drive performance, reliability, and regulatory compliance of electrical designs.
• Oversee power management optimization to maximize battery life and efficiency.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Design, Firmware, Software, Product Management, and Operations.
