Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years in complex electronic and embedded systems for scientific or industrial instrumentation.
• 3+ years in engineering management or technical leadership.
• Strong analog/digital circuit design and mixed-signal expertise.
• Embedded firmware development in C/C++ for MCU/FPGA-based platforms.
• Experience with FPGA architectures, real-time control, and high-speed data acquisition.
• EMC/ESD design, testing, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience delivering products from concept through manufacturing transfer.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of electrical and firmware engineers.
• Establish engineering priorities, roadmaps, and development plans.
• Drive project execution with reviews and best practices.
• Foster engineering excellence, accountability, and collaboration.
• Oversee architecture and development of electronics subsystems (PCBAs, FPGAs, CPUs).
• Guide embedded firmware for instrument control, data acquisition, and diagnostics.
• Manage GPU-accelerated solutions for image acquisition and processing.
• Coordinate design-for-manufacture, design-for-test, and verification strategies.
• Lead subsystem integration, verification, validation, and manufacturing transfer.
• Serve as technical escalation point for electronics/firmware challenges.
