Job summary

The role requires amaster's in education, NC instructional technology credentials, and 5+ years in education leadership, with opportunities to mentor staff and shape district-wide standards.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in education or related field.
• Valid NC teaching license with 077 Instructional Technology Specialist area required.
• Certified Educational Technology Leader (CETL), preferred
• Certified Government Chief Information Officer, CGCIO, preferred
• Minimum of five years of experience in teaching, curriculum development/instructional design, or educational leadership required

Responsibilities

• Adhere to laws, policies, and procedures
• Lead, manage, and evaluate assigned programs
• Investigate, analyze, and formulate methods for handling special projects/reports
• Work with senior leadership on development and quality of technology and learning services program elements
• Support and train school-level technology facilitators to implement best practices
• Collaborate with district leaders to promote instructional design standards and IT curriculum integration
• Implement the district's digital transition toward mobile learning and IT programs
• Design and deliver technology-rich professional learning for staff
• Lead sessions for program planning and problem-solving projects
• Provide training and guidance to assigned personnel
• Resolve tickets with cross-functional teams
• Maintain standard operating procedures and documentation
