Job summary

St. Mary's County Public Schools is seeking a seasoned Supervisor of Instruction – Educational Technologies and Media to lead instructional technology initiatives and data-informed instruction across the district.

The role emphasizes collaboration, staff development, and effective Schoology implementation in PK-12 settings. The position requires a Master’s degree and an Advanced Professional Certificate or License, plus an Administrator I endorsement and at least five years of teaching

Qualifications

• Master's degree.
• Advanced Professional Certificate or License.
• Administrator I endorsement.
• Minimum of five (5) years of effective teaching experience at the (elementary/middle/high) school level.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with no more than four Maryland current points and a clean driving history for five years.

Responsibilities

• Participates in identifying and assessing the Library/Media PK-12 curricular and instructional needs of students, community, and school system.
• Serves as an educational leader and oversees the implementation and efficient integration of all educational technology.
• Develops system instructional technology goals, objectives, and plans to ensure fidelity to curricular initiatives.
• Assists the Department of Curriculum and Instruction, the Department of Special Education, and other departments in best practices for Schoology usage.
• Coordinates program implementation and prepares required reports in a timely manner.
• Represents the system at state and local meetings to share instructional and curricular information.
