Job summary

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools seeks a Technology Facilitator to lead instructional technology integration across the district. Under general supervision, you will align resources with the district plan, provide leadership for digital tools, and support teachers in effective technology use.

The role requires a bachelor's degree and NC teaching license with the 077 specialty, plus several years of ed-tech experience.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily.
Bachelor's degree required.
Minimum of three years' experience with educational technology preferred.
Valid NC Teaching license with area 077 Instructional Technology Specialist-Computers required.

Responsibilities

Adhere to all state, federal, and local laws, policies, and procedures.
Serve as technology leader regarding curriculum, pedagogy, professional development, and appropriate digital resources.
Oversee school device management including monitoring the device inventory.
Evaluate and support selection of digital tools and resources based on best practices and data.
Ensure all students have access to digital tools and resources including personal computers and digital textbooks.
Use data from multiple sources to improve the instructional technology program and student achievement.
