Capital One seeks a Sr. Risk Manager in New York to lead Ecosystem Risk & Integrity operations, translating strategy into execution across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or military experience.
• At least 6 years of experience in project management, process management, or risk management
• At least 4 years of experience in operations management or financial services
• At least 2 years of experience in people management or leading cross-functional teams
• At least 2 years of experience within financial services or a regulated environment

Responsibilities

• Strategy & OKR Execution: Partner with Ecosystem Risk leadership to track, cascade, and execute the multi-year strategic roadmap and key objectives/OKRs.
• Governance & Cadence Management: Facilitate leadership forums, Steering Committees, Monthly Business Reviews (MBR), and other reviews; prepare high-integrity agendas and materials.
• Portfolio & Intake Execution: Manage the strategic intake process for new initiatives and track progress against deliverables and objectives.
• Control Framework Support: Support maturation of the 1LOD risk control environment per ERM standards and risk taxonomy frameworks.
• Audit & Exam Coordination: Coordinate internal audits and regulatory exams with centralized Reg Risk and Governance teams.
• Workforce Automation & Process Optimization: Drive automation and data-driven solutions using RPA/AI in collaboration with tech/product teams.
• Issues Management & QA/QC Execution: Oversee QA/QC and remediation workflows across Ecosystem Risk & Integrity.
• Executive Communications, Culture, & Oversight: Draft executive updates, committee communications, and sustain a People First culture.
