Job summary

Capital One seeks a Director in Ecosystem Risk & Integrity to safeguard the Global Payments Ecosystem, leading High Brand Risk and Prohibited Activity Monitoring programs. You will guide a team of Risk Specialists, work with Executives, and implement monitoring solutions across domestic and international regulatory landscapes.

You will drive strategic risk framework development, oversee governance and investigations, and empower cross-functional teams to deliver resilient, compliant growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or military experience.
• 5+ years of experience in Project Management or Process Management.
• 2+ years of experience in Operations Management.
• 2+ years of experience in People Management.
• Master's degree or certifications in BPM/Lean/Six Sigma/Agile are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Integrate Intelligence to Critical Risk Processes with partners and external vendors to validate transaction monitoring.
• Consult with Executives to determine interaction models with Payment Schemes and external participants.
• Drive finalization of HBR framework and set risk tolerance guardrails for complex merchant activities.
• Perform anomaly detection and assessments on network issues to mitigate risk.
• Conduct gap assessments on legacy tools and define integration requirements for scalable decisions.
• Automate logic-based rules, refine referral sources, and standardize noncompliance fee assessment trees.
• Oversee governance, QA frameworks, acquirer monitoring, and executive reporting.
• Lead and develop teams across Strategy, Program Administration, Investigations, and Operations.
