Manager: Head of eCommerce, NA Retail
Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced eCommerce and Performance Marketer to drive our online sales and digital marketing efforts in North America. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in eCommerce, data analytics, site experience, inbound marketing support, and website optimization. They will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of strategies to increase online sales, delivering a best in class site experience that drives growth for the channel.
Responsibilities:
- Support the development and implementation of comprehensive eCommerce strategies and tooling to drive online sales growth and enhance customer engagement
- Identify market trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions
- Ensure DTC platform evolution meets business performance goals and team storytelling and merchandising requirements
Website Optimization:
- Manage the eCommerce / web development agency responsible for delivering a multi-brand website experience and on-going product improvements
- Leverage site analytics to prioritize improvements to user experience, conversion rates, and site performance
- Collaborate with web developers and UX/UI designers to identify and implement enhancements and new features
- Merchandise website to position product at optimal points in the customer journey to maximize conversion and AOV
- Make recommendations for and conduct regular A/B testing and usability studies to identify areas for improvement and report on those results
Analytics and Reporting:
- Monitor and identify opportunities within key performance metrics and benchmarks to improve the effectiveness of eCommerce, email, and performance marketing efforts
- Analyze data and provide regular reports on sales performance, website traffic, conversion rates, and other relevant KPIs
- Use insights to identify opportunities for optimization and growth, and make data-driven recommendations to senior management
- Utilize data-driven insights to optimize performance marketing channels and maximize ROI
- Collaborate on and support digital advertising budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to achieve KPIs
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner with key stakeholders in NA and within Consumer Products to execute eCommerce and digital marketing strategies with regional and global objectives
- Collaborate with Sales, Physical Product, Marketing, and IT teams to drive cross-functional initiatives
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability by actively engaging with stakeholders and promoting open communication channels
- Coordinate marketing and offer calendar to create a DTC execution plan in conjunction with omnichannel sales & marketing team
Customer Journey Optimization
- Work closely with SEO agency to develop and implement strategies to improve the organic rankings and search traffic across priority keywords
- Partner with CRM agency and marketing team to guide lead gen, email, & SMS calendar and flow optimization
- Collaborate with marketing to support inbound customer journeys with landing page and product messaging across a rotating annualized calendar
- Design and implement a Gemini (search) friendly content plan with Content Specialist, marketing team, and agencies
- Work in lockstep with the paid media team to ensure performance marketing assets and campaigns are set up to deliver against KPIs
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Online Sales Revenue: Achieve revenue targets for eCommerce channels in the Culligan NA region
- Conversion Rate: Increase the percentage of website visitors who complete a desired action, such as making a purchase or signing up for a newsletter
- Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC): Work in lockstep with acquisition to otimize digital marketing campaigns to reduce the cost of acquiring new customers while maintaining or increasing conversion rates
- Website Traffic and Engagement: Grow website traffic and improve user engagement metrics such as time on site, pages per visit, and bounce rate
- Brand Awareness and Perception: Enhance brand visibility and reputation through a refined DTC site experience, consistent customer journey, and refined CRM program
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in eCommerce, digital marketing, or related roles, with a proven track record of driving online sales growth
- Strong understanding of eCommerce platforms, digital marketing channels, and performance analytics tools
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in eCommerce and digital marketing
Location:This position is based in the US with occasional travel required.
