Job summary

FirstEnergy in Greensburg seeks a DCC Operations leader responsible for WV/MD areas, enforcing the Manual of Operations, and ensuring safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance across the electric distribution system.

You will coordinate with the System Control Center, oversee outages, and integrate DCC with field operations while coaching staff and driving performance improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or PE license preferred or equivalent related work experience.
• 7+ years of professional work experience in distribution operations or DCC.
• Deep knowledge of electric theory, energy management and related information systems.
• Familiarity with DCC procedures, safety regulations and labor agreements.

Responsibilities

• Enforce the Manual of Operations to ensure safety and reliability.
• Coordinate operations with the System Control Center to maintain safe, reliable delivery.
• Lead coordination with departments, utilities, and customers for outages with minimal downtime.
• Provide direction to DCC personnel and oversee response to outages and abnormal events.
• Ensure accurate data recording and archiving for regulatory and reporting needs.
• Collaborate on projects to improve system performance and customer satisfaction.
