Job summary

EvenUp in the United States is hiring a Senior Manager, Discovery Operations to lead the AI-powered discovery service for personal injury litigation. You will own the legal quality bar and shape workflows, staffing, and SLAs to scale delivery.

You will translate complex discovery rules into repeatable processes, coach attorneys and reviewers, and partner with Product, Engineering, and Data Science to align technology with practice.

Qualifications

• J.D. and active bar license in good standing in at least one U.S. state.
• 7+ years of personal injury litigation experience with substantial discovery work.
• Experience managing people or leading a team.
• Comfort operating with metrics, SLAs, and throughput.
• Experience with legal tech/AI-assisted drafting tools.
• Ability to translate legal nuance into guidance for non-lawyers.
• Genuine comfort with ambiguity in a new function.

Responsibilities

• Own the legal quality bar across PI jurisdictions and define playbooks.
• Design end-to-end delivery workflow (intake, drafting, QA, client sign-off).
• Build staffing model and manage teams (attorneys, paralegals, reviewers).
• Own metrics and report to leadership (turnaround time, quality, throughput).
• Identify process improvements and scale automation with human review.</n>
• Be the primary contact between Discovery and firm leadership/clients for escalations.
