As part of Team Amex, you'll experience this powerful backing with comprehensive support for your holistic well-being and many opportunities to learn new skills, develop as a leader, and grow your career.

Here, your voice and ideas matter, your work makes an impact, and together, you will help us define the future of American Express.

And, with opportunities to learn from leaders who have defined the course of our industry, you can grow your career and define your own path. Find your place in risk and analytics on #TeamAmex.

The Enterprise Digital Experiences team (EDX) is responsible for the product management and design of American Express’ proprietary digital products – Amex Mobile App, americanexpress.com and Customer Personalization.

As a team, we are focused on driving engagement, satisfaction, and revenue through a combination of best-in-class user experience and compelling features and functionality. We have a global remit and, with our partners across the company, we bring the best of American Express’ payment and related services to life through our digital experiences.

We're looking for an experienced and dynamic digital Product Manager/Owner to join the Membership Experience team. The Product Manager/Owner will drive global development for digital experiences with millions of views—focusing on defining the roadmap and strategy for end-to-end customer experiences for Global Benefits.

With an outcome-first approach, our core goals include driving customer satisfaction, engagement, digital adoption, and revenue contribution. This person will partner closely with a team of product managers, engineers, designers, analytics, and effectively engage multiple stakeholders across the organization.

Our product managers/owners are often at the center of it all, connecting the dots, driving the core vision and the day-to-day. If that fits your career vision, we'd love to hear from you.

Job Responsibilities:
  1. Define your product vision and your roadmap by working with leadership, key stakeholders, and partners.
  2. Drive global development for experiences with millions of views, partnering closely with the Web, Mobile, Design, Marketing, and Analytics teams.
  3. Work closely with technology teams to develop, test and deliver features and services.
  4. Communicate the vision of the Membership Experience, its impact across Business Lines and Card Product teams, and the high-level business needs to leaders across the organization.
  5. Lead prioritization and development efforts with scrum team.
  6. Translate product roadmap into well-defined product requirements/user stories and acceptance test criteria.
  7. Embody design-thinking in your practice, including empathy and journey mapping, and UX research.
  8. Leverage data and analytics (qualitative + quantitative) to drive informed decisions, experimentation, and product strategy.
  9. Understand and apply new trends and competitive best practices into product roadmap and requirements.
  10. Support development of appropriate tracking and reporting to determine product performance.
Required Skills & Experience
  1. Bachelor’s Degree in related field required.
  2. 2/3+ years of experience in Product Management/Development.
  3. Experience leading scrum teams and a solid understanding of back-end architecture is required.
  4. Proven track record with consumer-facing product(s) and a core product vision.
  5. Experience with rapid and iterative software development methodologies.
  6. A solid understanding of application architecture (e.g., web, native app, PWA, etc.).
  7. Knowledge of reporting/analytical applications, e.g., Adobe.
  8. Experience with agile product development methodologies and tools (JIRA, Rally, LPM, etc.).
  9. Impeccable communication skills, both on and offline.

Salary Range: $90,000.00 to $165,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits.
