Job Description

dentsu is seeking a Senior Manager, Digital Activation and Planning. The ideal candidate will play a lead role in strengthening relationships with key pharmaceutical clients, collaborate with partner agencies, provide strategic media guidance to clients, establish and develop relationships with health media publishers, and ensure dentsu’s media programs meet client goals and KPIs in a timely, error-free manner.

You will play a critical role in developing and scaling a more contemporary, agile health media offering for our clients. This role can be remote. You will report to our Group Director of Digital Investment.

Responsibilities
  1. Oversee day-to-day management of our client’s business throughout the entire strategic planning and implementation process.
  2. Serve as the main point of contact for day-to-day client operations.
  3. Ensure on-time, on-budget campaigns and quality assurance of all ad placements. Oversee the development of tactical digital media plans.
  4. Develop cross-channel requests for proposals (RFPs), evaluate proposals, and finalize buy recommendations.
  5. Quality-assure all campaigns, reporting, and billing to produce client-ready materials.
  6. Recommend innovative tactics to improve accounts and foster growth.
  7. Lead activation processes, including Prisma setup, trafficking, and QA.
  8. Communicate campaign performance and provide insights on technology, data, optimization, and in-platform quality assurance.
  9. Manage monthly financial operations, including client billing, actualizations, and reconciliation.
  10. Foster talent development within the team, mentoring junior members.
  11. Identify new growth opportunities and organic expansion.
Qualifications
  • 4-6 years experience in digital media planning and strategy.
  • Experience in a highly regulated industry, preferably pharma.
  • Knowledge of multi-channel marketing to DTC and HCP audiences, including programmatic, search, POC, print, video, and social media.
  • Experience with data-driven strategy, campaign development, measurement, and optimization.
  • Familiarity with financial processes like billing, actualization, invoice reconciliation, and Prisma.
  • Willingness to learn and develop client management and communication skills.
  • People and project management experience, including managing junior planners and cross-disciplinary teams.
Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary range is $68,000-$110,400, based on experience and skills. Benefits include medical, vision, dental insurance, life insurance, disability coverage, 401k, flexible paid time off, holidays, paid sick leave, and parental leave. Dentsu complies with applicable laws regarding employee leave benefits.
