Job Description:

dentsu is seeking a Senior Manager, Digital Activation and Planning. The ideal candidate will play a lead role in strengthening relationships with key pharmaceutical clients, collaborate with partner agencies, provide strategic media guidance to clients, establish and develop relationships with health media publishers, and ensure dentsu’s media programs meet client goals and KPIs in a timely, error-free manner.

You will play a critical role in developing and scaling a more contemporary, agile health media offering for our clients. This role can be remote. You will report to our Group Director of Digital Investment.

You Will:

  1. Oversee day-to-day management of our client’s business throughout the entire strategic planning and implementation process.
  2. Serve as the main point of contact for day-to-day client operations.
  3. Be responsible for on-time, on-budget campaigns, and quality assurance of all ad placements. You will oversee the development of tactical digital media plans.
  4. Develop cross-channel requests for proposals (RFPs), evaluate proposals, and finalize buy recommendations.
  5. Quality-assure all campaigns, reporting, and billing to produce client-ready materials.
  6. Recommend innovative tactics to improve account and foster growth.
  7. Serve as the day-to-day lead for all activation processes, including Prisma setup, trafficking, and QA.
  8. Communicate campaign performance, providing insightful feedback on technology, data, optimization, and in-platform quality assurance.
  9. Lead monthly financial operations, including client billing, actualizations, and reconciliation.
  10. Foster talent within the team, teach, and lead junior team members.
  11. Identify and participate in new and organic growth opportunities.

You Have:

  1. 4-6 years of experience in digital media planning and strategy.
  2. Experience in a highly regulated industry, preferably pharma.
  3. Knowledge and experience with multi-channel marketing to DTC (direct-to-consumer) and HCP (healthcare professional) audiences including programmatic, search, POC (point of care), print, video, and social media. Working knowledge of patient and professional media channels and partners.
  4. Experience with data-driven strategy, campaign development, measurement, and optimization.
  5. Experience with financial processes, billing, actualization, invoice reconciliation, media authorization development, and Prisma skills.
  6. Willingness to learn and grow skills in client management and communication.
  7. People and project management experience, including managing junior planners and contributors from various specialty functions.
  8. Ability to bring together multidisciplinary teams to achieve desired outcomes.

The annual salary range for this position is $68,000-$110,400. Placement within the salary range depends on relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors.
