Job summary

Harnham is seeking a Senior Manager of Data & Analytics to lead a cross-functional team spanning Analytics, BI, and Data Engineering. This player-coach role focuses 70% on leadership and 30% hands-on work, driving the data strategy and delivering commercial impact.

You will partner with senior leaders to enhance decision making, improve KPIs, data quality, and reporting, and help scale data solutions with the engineering team while exploring AI-enabled analytics.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Data & Analytics, BI, or Data Science with proven people management experience.
• Strong commercial acumen and experience partnering with senior stakeholders.
• Experience leading broad Data & Analytics functions and setting strategic priorities.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with modern BI tools such as Looker or Omni.
• Good understanding of data modeling, transformation, and data engineering principles.
• Experience applying AI tools within Analytics.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team across Analytics, BI, and Data Engineering.
• Own the Data & Analytics roadmap, prioritizing initiatives that deliver the greatest business value.
• Partner with senior leadership to improve commercial, customer, and operational decision making.
• Drive improvements in reporting, KPIs, data quality, and analytical processes.
• Work closely with Data Engineering to deliver scalable data solutions.
• Support the adoption of AI, predictive analytics, and automation.
• Remain technically involved, providing guidance and challenging analytical approaches.
