Job summary

The Salvation Army North Texas Area Command in Dallas, TX is seeking a full-time fundraising professional to cultivate corporate businesses and foundations, solicit gifts, and grow the donor portfolio. You will work under the Director of Institutional Giving and Events to build opportunities and packages that advance the command’s mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Three years of experience in corporate relations and/or corporate giving.
• Any equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate corporate donors and foundations to solicit funds and gifts-in-kind for The Salvation Army North Texas Area Command.
• Maintain a portfolio of corporate donors and a prospect pipeline to raise funds for the organization.
• Analyze gift potential of corporations and devise strategies to solicit gifts.
• Create and implement plans to convert non-donor corporations with employee volunteers into donors.
• Develop annual corporate stewardship, recognition, retention, renewal, and upgrading plans.
• Track progress and financial outcomes of activities and report weekly.
