Job summary

LCS in Des Moines, IA, seeks a Senior Manager, Core Accounting to lead the close process, ensure accuracy and transparency, and drive governance and continuous improvement across accounting centers of excellence.

You will supervise teams, approve complex entries, coordinate cross-functional close activities, and enforce GAAP and internal controls while supporting audits and staff development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• CPA preferred
• Experience leading accounting teams
• Strong GAAP knowledge
• Excellent analytical skills

• Review and approve complex journal entries and reconciliations
• Drive continuous improvement across close and reconciliation processes
