Job summary

Titan International in Des Moines, IA seeks a Senior Accountant to join the finance team. You will perform month-end close, reconciliations, and provide insight on accounting matters while maintaining a high degree of confidentiality.

You will prepare journal entries, analyze ledgers, support SOX controls, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure accurate financial statements and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field (or equivalent).
• Minimum 1–5 years in staff/general ledger accounting, financial analysis, or similar.
• Experience with Oracle and Essbase preferred.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills; detail-oriented.
• Ability to partner with internal clients in budgeting and forecasting.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain corporate ledgers, prepare journal entries, analyze accounts, and close books monthly.
• Provide insight on ad hoc projects, lease accounting, fixed assets, FP&A and reporting.
• Collaborate with key members of the organization and update accounting policies.
• Support internal controls and SOX compliance, including control matrices and narratives.
• Prepare interpretive analyses of business performance for management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
