Job summary

LCS is seeking a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst in Des Moines, IA, to own key monthly reporting, data validation, and compliance activities. You will lead covenant and board reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness while partnering with BI and data owners.

The role requires 4–6 years in accounting/finance, solid GAAP knowledge, and strong Excel skills, with opportunities to advance in a collaborative, purpose-driven environment serving seniors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent experience.
• 4–6 years in accounting, reporting, audit, or finance.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and financial statement mechanics.
• Ability to independently own complex journal entries and reporting deliverables.
• Experience with regulatory, audit, or compliance documentation.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly CAM reporting deliverables with data validation and variance investigation.
• Prepare board/owner packet schedules and respond to non-standard reporting requirements.
• Submit regulatory and industry reports in defined formats and on deadlines.
• Prepare debt covenant calculations and lender/holder reporting with full audit trail.
• Coordinate data governance and issue resolution across BI, IT and data owners.
• Maintain reporting calendars, templates, and standard operating procedures.
• Support tax, unclaimed property, renewals, and due diligence requests with accurate schedules.
