650 UHY Advisors Midwest, Inc. is seeking a CAS Senior Manager to lead client accounting operations and a team of accounting professionals in West Des Moines, IA. You will ensure timely, accurate financial services, maintain client relationships, and drive process improvements.

You will review journal entries, oversee month-end close, assist with budgeting and forecasting, and provide strategic financial advice to clients. A strong accounting background and leadership experience are required.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business; 10+ years of relevant accounting/finance and management/supervisory experience in public accounting, professional services, corporate or private industry; thorough understanding of advanced accounting principles.
• Advanced degree/MBA and CPA license preferred; supervisory experience leading large staff.

Mansioni

• Oversee client accounting operations and manage a team of accounting professionals.
• Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements prepared by the team.
• Coordinate month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring deadlines and quality standards.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities in collaboration with clients.
• Analyze financial data, identify trends and variances, and provide insights to clients and management.
• Support billing, accounts receivable, and department budgeting; drive gross profit targets.

Formazione

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business

MBA/Advanced degree and/or CPA preferred
